1. What StakScan is

StakScan provides AI-powered business assessments for UK service businesses. Our free Mini Scan gives you a score and quick wins based on your answers. Our paid Full Audit (£95) provides a deeper, personalised analysis with tool recommendations, an implementation plan, and a follow-up strategy call.

2. Using the free scan

The Mini StakScan is free. You answer a short set of questions and provide your email address. In return, we send you a personalised Mini Audit PDF with your score breakdown and actionable recommendations.

By submitting your email, you agree to receive your results and occasional follow-up emails about StakScan. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email or by contacting us directly.

3. Paid audits

If you purchase a Full Service Business Audit, payment is processed securely by Stripe. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with your Full Audit, contact us within 14 days of receiving it and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.

Paid audits are delivered digitally (PDF report and/or online results page) within 24 hours of purchase. The 30-minute strategy call, where included, will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time within 14 days of purchase.

4. What you get (and what you don’t)

StakScan provides general business insights and recommendations based on your quiz answers and AI analysis. Our reports are intended as a starting point — they are not a substitute for professional business consulting, financial advice, or legal guidance.

While we aim to provide accurate and useful recommendations, the specific results (such as estimated time savings or financial impact) are projections based on typical industry patterns and should be treated as estimates, not guarantees.

5. AI-generated content

Parts of your assessment are generated using AI (Anthropic’s Claude). While we review and refine the prompts and frameworks that produce these insights, AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. We recommend verifying any specific tool or cost recommendations independently before making purchasing decisions.

6. Your responsibilities

When using StakScan, you agree to provide honest and reasonably accurate answers to the assessment questions. The quality of your results depends on the accuracy of your input. You also agree not to use StakScan for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or impair the service.

7. Intellectual property

The StakScan name, branding, website content, assessment methodology, and report templates are owned by us. Your personalised report is yours to keep and share as you wish, but you may not resell it or use StakScan’s methodology to create a competing service.

8. Limitation of liability

StakScan is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of StakScan or reliance on our recommendations. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by placing a notice on our website. Continued use of StakScan after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
